Welcome to the -original- Silent Hill Club (SHC). This club was created back in April 2003. (We're SIX years old!) Since then, it's grown incredibly large with many members and plenty of art to boot. We hope you don't enjoy your stay with us.... we're rather territorial about our hometown.... and we will kill you if necessary. (Or send P-Head after you.... he's most effective.)

Because of our vast collection of bodies, we mean... uh... members, we had to make a few new rules (read them) and take out a few things. If this deeply bothers you in any form or way, then please drown yourself in Toluca Lake. (Any comments in regard to this will be dully noted.) Please review these new rules (at the bottom of the journal under the member listing) because it's very important that you do so. We won't be responsible for not adding a picture or fan-fic or whatever to the list because you didn't listen. Again, we highly advise that you take the time to read these guidelines. Thank you.

We are dedicated....
... to being the best Silent Hill club on DA. And with this step of pride, we promise to update as much as humanly possible. Anyone with game updates or other news are more than welcome submit it to us.

If you want to JOIN...
If you are interested in joining SHC, all you have to do is add us to your DevWatch List. We will no longer be accepting and/or reading Notes regarding membership. If you're on out "Watchers" List, congrats! You're a member!

Ladies and gents, SH fanatics, glorious video game nerds and nerdettes,

It has been brought to my attention that this club has not been updated and yet still collecting psychopaths for the past three years when I attempted to leave it.

So here is what I will do for you lovely, lovely people...

I will attempt to revamp the club entirely. I will update the rules, and I will also seek new moderators and useful staff.

Here's what I need you all to do:
- BE FUCKING PATIENT.
- Do not harass my main account ANYMORE.

Here's what I need some some of you:
- Send in a note to this club titled "I'M AWESOME. " if you are interested in becoming a Member List Junkie, News Updater, or something.
- In this note explain why you are awesome, what makes you a good awesome person, and what other awesome clubs have you worked with before. Bonus points for current or previous club experience.
- I will be looking for SIX people. No more.
- I will make my decision on May 8th. No 'ifs', 'ands', or 'buts'.

There is much work to be done.

Edit: I've also given this club a three month DA subscription in hopes to beautify it once more. If you love this club, be a pal and donate.

Edit 2: Since I did not receive enough adequate responses, I'm extending the deadline for new mods until the 8th.

Edit 3: New club mods have been selected. Expect some good updates in the future.

Edit 4: DON'T PANIC. I'VE JUST BEEN SUPER SUPER BUSY. CHILLAX CHILDREN.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POSTING SPOILER COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS. This is highly important. With the turning of a new game, keep in mind that others are still playing and do NOT want the game to be revealed to them.

Please don't ask for any FAQs or questions to the game. We don't have any links to walkthroughs or anything (but they would be appreciated.)

Play nice with others. Breaking stuff is okay. We're not cleaning that up. And mostly... have fun.

This isn't a contest to see who can get the most favorites, or who will be our new member of the month. Stop brown-nosing. Because of this, we've currently stopped accepting art for the Submitted Art Section.

DO NOT SEND US NOTES WITH LINKS TO YOUR ART.

Do not send us notes with your work. We favorite art at random and on our own accord. You can comment on the gallery with links. We may or may not favorite, we may or may not comment. But please do not expect us to favorite and comment everything you have. We don't play favorites so there will be no favorism in this club.

HOW TO JOIN: Sent us a NOTE, not a comment, a note to us. The note's Subject title: "Joining SHC" You will receive a reply stating that you will be added to the members list. DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE NOTES. We make it appoint to update as much as possible. Sometimes this may mean once a month. However, we NEVER delete anything in our Inbox (unless it's junk notes which we get on occasion,) therefore there is no need to send us more notes.

All clubs have rules. Exceptional rules that we ask our members and would-be members to follow. Now, we've changed the joining proceedures around a bit. If you'd like to join, you have to have "Joining SHC" as the title. We will no longer accept notes without proper titles or messages. This will go to prove if you've actually gone about to read all the rules.
